Playing Well with Others

“Share everything. Play Fair.”

~ Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

Playing with other instruments benefits from knowledge and skills that extend beyond what we learn about the harp.  In this session, we will explore questions that make it easier to play with other instruments, develop music for duets, and join impromptu jam sessions.  For example, in what keys, speeds and ranges can you play with other instruments? We know the range of the harp, and will learn from other musicians the parameters of instruments such as the guitar, bodhran, recorder, psaltery etc.  This is an opportunity for hands on learning and practice.
