About the Harp Retreat (will be adjusted slightly for 2022 when details are in place):

We are a small intimate harp retreat 

 Our event offers: 

*A small intimate setting for 5-10 hours per class or workshop 

* A very low pupil to teacher ratio provides opportunities to connect with each other and with the instructors 

* Option to audit classes 

*  Harp events are under one roof, the Saturday evening  concert is within walking distance and we are 20 minutes from La Veta where the Harp Circle often  plays.

*Organized meals, a secure harp room where harps may be left throughout the festival, festival tickets waiting for you at the harp venue

This harp retreat has become an annual holiday for some… coming back to a familiar happy place in beautiful Colorado mountains  For participants as well as companions there are antique shops in Walsenberg and La Veta hosts excellent restaurants, a variety of  art galleries  and boutiques .  A nearby golf course, a wolf reserve, mountain hiking trails and spectacular scenery are also features of the area. 

Participants have come from Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Maine, Maryland, Florida, Canada and  Hawaii. But no one comes further than instructors who have joined us from Ireland, Scotland, England, Brittany and Wales.
