Nicole hoped to attend the 2018 Spanish Peaks Harp Retreat. While planning for this, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She decided to take a harp and go into a remote area of Colorado and just play until her time was up. Unfortunately, that time came all too soon.

Nicole had paid one of our harp participants for some lessons and left money with her for future lessons. That money was sent to the Harp Retreat to use in some way to honor Nicole. Thanks to our walking angels on earth, we have been able to offer a scholarship to the harp retreat for the past 2 years. Thanks to our spirit angel Nicole we are able to offer this scholarship on an ongoing basis.

Just mentioning this idea to one participant, we have had a generous offer. If we collect the funds for a full harp retreat scholarship, someone will donate a registration for the Wednesday and Thursday sessions as well. Looking forward, we hope to grow our scholarship fund so that we can assist several people a year in attending the Retreat as well as continue to provide low-priced and free concert tickets to area residents.
